Dr. Robert Keith Hood was born and raised in Orange, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to attend the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston for his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He later completed his residency in periodontics and has been practicing dentistry for over 3 decades years.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Hood has been married to his wife, Laura, for over 40 years. They have four children—Lyle, Josie, Leroy, and Alex. When he’s not in the office, he enjoys fishing, reading, playing golf, watching sports, and working in the yard. And if you ever grab a meal with him, be warned, he has a remarkable ability to eat large amounts of food!
